02 · Your data
Your information stays yours.
Oltrex does not train on your content.
Oltrex does not use production content to train generalized AI models. Oltrex-managed Google Gemini and Groq processing uses paid/API terms that prohibit provider training on production data.
Your key, your provider’s terms.
If you configure another AI provider or compatible endpoint, Oltrex encrypts the API key you supply and routes relevant content using that credential. The provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
Reply text may use a speech service.
When server-generated spoken replies are enabled, ElevenLabs or Microsoft Edge Speech may receive the generated reply text to synthesize audio. That step does not send your raw recording. See the processing details.
Calendar access only.
The current Google integration asks for Calendar access to read availability and support calendar actions you approve. It does not request email or inbox access.
Yours to take, yours to erase.
Export portable JSON containing tasks, notes, transcripts and recording metadata, memories, and settings. Raw audio and sensitive secrets are excluded. Account deletion removes active data and Oltrex's stored connection credentials, subject to the limited exceptions in the Privacy Policy.
Forget means forgotten.
Forget a memory and it is excluded immediately, then blocked from being re-learned.
You control enrollment.
If you choose voice enrollment, Oltrex stores an encrypted mathematical fingerprint for speaker recognition, not the enrollment recording as part of that profile. You can delete the profile anytime.
03 · Recording
Capture starts on your terms.
A saved capture starts only when you start it.
Saved recordings do not begin silently.
A saved Oltrex recording never begins by itself. If you enable “Hey Oltrex,” the microphone listens for the wake phrase while the app is active and stops in the background; Apple server recognition may be used when on-device recognition is unavailable. Recording laws differ by place. Tell people you are recording and get their OK first. That part is up to you; the app cannot announce it for you. See the recognition details.
04 · Clear limits
What Oltrex does not do today.
The honest version, because a secretary you can trust does not pretend.
No autonomous calling.
Oltrex does not make phone calls. When something needs a call, it hands it back to you.
No payments or transfers.
Oltrex does not touch money or move funds.
No inbox access in this release.
Email and inbox are not part of this version. The optional Google integration is Calendar-only.
iPhone and iPad today.
Android is not available today. The current release is for iPhone and iPad.
No background wake listening.
Saved voice and meeting captures must be started by you. The optional foreground wake listener runs only after it is enabled and stops when the app is backgrounded or the feature is turned off.
No independent counterparty verification.
Oltrex does not independently verify another person’s work. Task completion remains user-confirmed; approving a calendar action does not independently prove that work was completed.
